About the programme

What is VESTA®?

The Veterinarian Electronic Safety Travel Authorisation: a unified pre-clearance for animals travelling across borders.

Programme overview

VESTA® is created by the Pet Airport Authority in cooperation with participating Ministry of Agriculture agencies. It standardises sanitary and health-document checks so your animal's paperwork is reviewed before departure, not at the border.

Pre-clearance

Documents are vetted against your destination's entry rules ahead of travel.

Veterinarian verified

Health and rabies records are certified by Official Export Veterinarians.

Fewer border delays

An approved authorisation reduces customs friction and port delays.
