P.A.N. vs I.P.A.T.A. We have had some emails and telephone from both passagers and affiliates inquiring about the difference between IPATA and PAN. The difference is extensive IPATA is an association based in Texas USA that regroups an amount of specialised and non specialised pet transport companies very similar to ATA. PAN is a corporate run network based next to IATA in Geneva Switzerland and regroups not only pet transport companies but specific pet home care, safety and services for pet owners. This can be a veterinarian, an airline, a pet relocator, kennel, government agency, many more and run like an airline code sharing system. The big difference is our membership program for passengers and their pet(s) and an affiliate program for professionals, both moving across all PAN agents of the network. Via its regional managers, PAN advertises and promotes the affiliate agents within its network and provides training (certification), logistics (PetDesk program), tracking (pantrack), procedures and much more on a single platform that affiliates and passengers can benefit from.... very different to IPATA. Our world regional managers help generate new passengers members with the PetDesk program to use only PAN affiliate agents worldwide (world logo) but as well are in constent contact with official government agencies to help establish common working procedures. These in turn are provided to the Affiliates. Ultimately pet(s) care & safety is key to the network. We do not ask you to join right away but use our network agents and you might see the difference for yourself. Joining might become clear and well profitable to your company and clients or definitively as you, the pet owner!!!
